Hello folks!  This is not a sugar coated show today! Instead of just talking about electric vehicles and solar powered energy, this radio show is about to get real. We are going to talk people, problems, solutions and yes BS! We might even mention celebrities and what we think of them too!  2015 is going to be an explosive year for this radio show.  Introducing Ms. Real herself... YES THAT TIFFANY RAIM!!  This is an unfiltered talk about what people think but don't say.  Kind of like a Kitchen Show with F Bombs and S Bombs but expect real information versus nonense or copied content.  Please Tune in Because you will enjoy Yourself! 

This journey to LOVE: THE SAINT AND THE SEEKER began in 1992 at the Rio+20 Summit. "As l learned more about the environment and the health of the planet, I got more active. In June 2012, I was part of a 40,000 person delegation of parliamentarians, mayors, UN officials, CEO’s and civil society leaders, more than 50 heads of state and close to 500 ministers for the Rio+20 Summit on Sustainable Development. 700 commitments for $513 billion were pledged to build a sustainable future for the planet earth. While at the summit, I spoke of my search for a land that was doing it right; a sustainable global model. Many years earlier, I found myself called to the Kingdom of Bhutan. I feel in love with an ancient land of Kings and Queens, beloved by their people." Christina Stevens also serves on the Board of Directors of Ted Turner’s Captain Planet Foundation whose mission is to give the next generation of environmental stewards an active understanding and love for the natural world in which they live. Its unique program of funding and support of hands-on environmental projects is designed to encourage innovative initiatives that inspire and empower youth around the world as they work individually and collectively creating environmental solutions in their homes, schools and communities. Much like her journey to meet and film Mother Teresa, big dreams start small, such as being more green and adopting more sustainable practices in one’s life. Yet no change can come about without a vision. That vision needs passion to ignite it and action to bring it into reality. Sometimes merely focusing on an idea, thinking it through and sharing it gives it life, power and momentum.

Ok. When I go to a doctor, part of me just does not want to listen. However, when Dr. Ginger says something I Will Listen (or drool). Dr. Ginger is the reining Mrs. Virginia U.S. 2013 and will be competing in the Mrs. United States Pageant July 27-31 in Las Vegas. Her platform is B.R.A.K.E.S. (Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe) teen safe driving program started by her husband in 2008 after his 2 sons, Jon and James, were killed in a tragic car accident. To date, B.R.A.K.E.S. has put over 10,000 teens through the safe driving program. The doctor wrote the nutrition & mind-body chapters in the N.Y.Times Best Seller, “Crazy Sexy Cancer Survivor;” a book written by one of her students. I need to check out that book! Dr. Ginger has been: Director of Corporate Wellness for Bruton Smith’s Sonic Automotive and Speedway Motorsports (NASCAR racetracks) Director of Nutritional Wellness for The Cliffs Communities Spa Director for The Trump Spa at Mar-a-lago, Donald Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Fla. Since then, Dr. Ginger has devoted her professional life to public health education. Tanna Fredrick, sexy actress and Surf preserver of the West Coast joins the Green Liing Guy to talk oceans, going green and whatever else might pop up! Tanna can currently be seen starring with Judd Nelson in the Henry Jaglom comedy “Just 45 Minutes from Broadway” which explores the complex emotional lives of theater folk. She’s also hitting the boards in “The Rainmaker” at the Edgemar Theatre in Santa Monica. The Los Angeles Times said, “The standout of this terrific cast is Tanna Frederick’s acerbically yearning Lizzie…It’s a transformation not to be missed. She is a second-degree Tae Kwon Do blackbelt and a passionate surfer.  She founded “Project Save Our Surf,” an annual surfing event that benefits oceans and clean water initiatives. She is also founder of the Iowa Film Festival, which debuted successfully five years ago and has tripled in size. Frederick’s latest venture is Project Cornlight, which aims to develop Iowa-based films and other projects showcasing Iowa talent. Christian Marie Serratos best known for portraying Angela Weber in Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse.  Part of the Twilight novels by Stephenie Meyer and Suzie Crabgrass in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide gonna be on the green living guy!!!   Serratos posed for PETA's campaign back in November 2009 so let's see what kind of green girl we've got here ladies and gentlemen.   PLUS she ranked at number 65 on Maxim's "Hot 100" list for 2010.     Green Living Guy wants to know!! An eco friendly band that I have known for a while deserved an interview with The Green Living Guy. Driven by the gutsy lead vocals and savvy songwriting of John Cusimano, The Cringe has been bringing their blend of politicized power pop and big-belt-buckle blare to fans across the country since 2004. The band’s first two albums, Scratch the Surface and Tipping Point, tipped the neo-grunge scales towards the polished blast-pop of the Foo Fighters and The Vines, but within those melodic contours lurked the ragged heart of first-generation indie bands from the Minutemen to The Replacements. John Cusimano also husband to Rachel Ray TV star extrodinare!!  So interview is with John and Rachel at the same time.  NEXT TIME WE BETTER GET RACHEL!!  ha ha.. great interview so listen to it please!!! thanks!!!

New York City & Lower Hudson Valley Clean Communities, Inc (NYCLHVCC), The Federated Conservationists of Westchester County, Inc (FCWC) and the City of White Plains are co-hosting a two part event during White Plains Earth Week to educate residents of the Lower Hudson Valley on how they can reduce their carbon foot print by switching to Electric Vehicles. On April 18 a special screening of “Revenge of the Electric Car” directed by Chris Paine*, sponsored by BMW of Westchester, will start at 6PM at the Cinema De Lux in White Plains New York and will feature welcome remarks by Honorable Mayor Tom Roach of White Plains, NY. Chris Paine’s earlier documentary “Who Killed the Electric Car?” (2006) questioned the role of the auto industry and government planners. His follow up documentary “Revenge of the Electric Car” (2011) documents four entrepreneurs from 2007 to 2010 who are fighting to see who will be the first to bring the electric car back in the mist of a global recession. My interview with Christina Ficcina, Executive Director for the NYC Lower Hudson Valley Clean Cities and leader of this event will talk to the Green Living Guy about the event.

Leilani Munter is one of the top ten race car woman drivers in the WORLD! She is an advocate for the environment and I have interviewed her on Planet Green. We've known each other now for a few years and really we need to catch up on. From The Cove to how green her car is to her work with NASCAR, to the Gulf Oil Spill and more!

The Green Living Guy will be interviewing John Burke and special guests from MSI Lighting.  They will be talking about their products but also their results!! Leveraging their LED expertise, and in collaboration with the leading optic developers and LED manufacturers globally, MSi has extended this same LED technology to retail accent spot and flood lighting.  It's our niche, and we're now taking orders for the next generation of retail lighting ... the amazing iPAR-38, iPAR-30 and iMR-16 intelligent LED replacement bulbs and the Trio Trac LED track light fixture.

Gunther has years of experience in design and development of innovative solutions to a wide array of power system problems, most notably ways to take advantage of communications networks and technology to improve the efficiency, operating practices, and security of the electric power system.  Erich was appointed by the US Department of Energy in 2004 to serve on the GridWise Architecture Council (GWAC) - a focused team of experts assembled to articulate the guiding principles that constitute the architecture of a future, intelligent, transactive, energy system.  Mr. Gunther serves on the board of directors for Global Smart Infrastructures, and the Utility Communications Architecture International Users group.  He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Tennessee. In 2007, EnerNex and Mr. Gunther were recognized by the Department of Energy and other organizers of the GridWeek conference by receiving the Smart Grid Implementation and Leadership Award.  The award announcement stated: “Under Erich Gunther’s leadership, the EnerNex team has clearly driven how we implement and deploy smart grid technologies from coast to coast and everywhere in between”.  Erich also received the individual Smart Grid Award for Technology Leadership at GridWeek 2008.

Boaz is the host and executive producer of Halogen TV's THE UN-ROAD TRIP 10-part television series that premiered on Earth Day, April 22.
