 DLite's Deep Cuts Vol. 5 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5059

Deep Cuts Vol. 5 was created with Friday or Saturday evening cocktails in mind. Take yourself back to the prohibition era and a more decadent age with these funky, sexy, deep, soulful and upbeat sounds. It’s the perfect soundtrack to starting your weekend in style…grab a cocktail (or four) and get your groove on with DLite’s Deep Cuts. 85 minutes and 19 tracks all with one common purpose: helping you gear down in style. Whatever your stresses, melt them away. Great for your Friday wind down with a bottle of wine, your Saturday night warm-up, or as your very own Sunday Recovery Session. It’s a great collection of genres and sounds all geared to being the soundtrack for your weekend. The mix contains some of my all time favourites and some amazing new sounds so I hope you enjoy listening as much as I’ve enjoyed putting it together. If you enjoy the mixes and the 'casts: 1.  DLite's Essential EDX | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4479

EDX has been one of my favourite DJs/Producers for as long as I can remember. This might sound a bit strange but I’m not exactly sure why he’s been a favourite. I think it’s because he’s not the biggest name, the flashiest artist, the biggest selling DJ or the most outspoken. I admire that he just does his job in the background and excels at it. His sound is unique. It covers so many genres it's tough to pin down just one. It's a solid helping of deep house, progressive, proper house, chill, and vocal house music. Although most of his music is around 128bpm he still manages to take it to deep, funky, moving, nostalgic, and sometimes dark places. He has a signature but understated bass line that somehow alternates between getting you moving and taking you to a peaceful place – and sometimes doing both. In this Essential EDX mix I’ve included my favourite EDX tracks but more importantly my favourite EDX remixes because that’s where his best work is. As you can see from the track listing he’s worked with and supported some of the biggest names in dance music in the past decade. Enjoy this sampling of EDX! Casa Grande (Original mix) – EDX Fantasy (EDX remix) – Nadia Ali Shy Shy (Extended Vocal mix) – EDX Breakwater (EDX Ibiza Sunrise remix) – Funkagenda Breathin’ (Extended Vocal mix) – EDX Weapon (EDX Acapulco At Night remix) – Cazzette Lotta Lovin’ (EDX Miami Sunset remix) – Sucker DJs Times Like These (EDX Indian Summer remix) – Albin Myers Angel On My Shoulder (EDX Belo Horizonte At Night remix) – Kaskade Back There (EDX Dubai Skyline mix) – Calippo Say Yeah (EDX Ibiza Sunrise remix) – Yves Larock ft. Jaba What A Wonderful World (EDX Vocal mix) – Axwell & Bob Sinclar ft. Ron Carroll Mirage (EDX 5un5hine remix) – Passenger 10 Don’t Stop Dancing (Extended mix) – Kaskade & EDX ft.  Winter Heat Vol. 1 | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 3187

Deep, dark, dirty, vocal, sweaty, sexy house music. I have a hard time expressing what I consider the perfect house music, but this comes close. This episode has what I think is the perfect mix of sounds for a cold winter Friday night and a dance floor that is dark, pulsing and determined. It’s been almost 5 months since I posted the two part ‘Deviate’ mixes in July…so much has happened since, but one thing stays constant: My love of this music, this sound and the way it will ALWAYS make me move. I’m thankful I get to share it with all of you. Get your dancin’ shoes ready and let it burn… 1. Kaskade “Atmosphere” (Amtrac remix) 2. Lissat & Voltaxx, Marc Fischer “Groovejet” (Audrey Exx & Fomichev remix) 3. Sharam Jay & Night Talk “Gonna Get You” (Original mix) 4. Sugar Hill “Feeling For You” (Original mix) 5. Inner City & Kevin Saunderson “Good Life” (Matt Smallwood remix) 6. Jamie Antonelli “Divine” (Original mix) 7. Jerome Robins, MC Flipside, Crazibiza “Like That” (Original mix) 8. Till West & Kasia Malenda “All My Life” (Original mix) 9. Hoxton Whores, Martin Villeneuve, Jerome Robins “Dreaming” (Original mix) 10. Nora En Pure “Sweet Melody” (Teenage Mutants remix) 11.  A DEVIATE Summer Pt.2 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6340

de·vi·ate /ˈdēvēˌāt/ Verb Depart from an established course. Depart from usual or accepted standards. Synonyms: digress - deflect - diverge - swerve - depart - stray I'm proud to introduce a new collaboration with my good friend DJ SanchezR (http://progressionofadj.podomatic.com/). This one is simple. Mostly live mixes where the two of us put our musical styles together and create a completely new sound by taking turns on the decks. Taking turns on the decks trying new shit with music we never normally do...and the result has been pretty cool so far. As we'll be creating mixes neither could do on his own we'll be 'deviating' from our norm. We encourage all of you to 'deviate' from whatever your normal is and shock yourself into some positive change in your life. So, I bring you DEVIATE (DLite + SanchezR) and our first two live mixes: A DEVIATE Summer Pt.1 & 2. Enjoy the energy, enjoy the new direction...enjoy the new duo DEVIATE.
