Setting new goals for yourself, both business and personal, is like choosing the seeds you wish to plant in your garden of life. This is not an uncommon exercise, particularly if you are a super achieving, ambitious business owner, entrepreneur, or professional.

The reason I am using the term “escrow” as a metaphor is because I see your un-manifested desires similar to the properties that purchasers wanted to own.

Have you noticed that your commitment and determination to make the changes you know you need to make start off strong, and then you bump right back into your old habits which take you back into your old life again?

Have you planted plenty of seeds this year, (lots of hard work) yet they don’t seem to have produced the results that you expected? If this is true for you, you might be caught in the Law of Attraction Myths that will sabotage your results every time.

Deliberate Creation may not be the obvious answer you are looking for when it comes to breaking out of your current circumstances and experiencing the joy of having financial freedom. The internal process of Deliberate Creation is the same regardless of your desire.

Doing what you love may be something you are currently embracing, or it may still be living as a distant dream inside of you. In either case, when your work is your soul’s calling and your passion, odd as it might seem, it will evoke resistance within you.

Doing what we love is the passionate intention for many of us that are business owners and solopreneurs in this 21st century. Yet, blending the energy of money with the energy of our heart can be one of the biggest obstacles and greatest challenges, not only to us personally, but to the success of our business, as well.

How we achieve our results and whether or not we enjoy the process, determines the effectiveness of our ability to change. Have you ever been to a health practitioner or doctor and you felt like they saw you as a ‘thing’?

Being all dressed up can look very different from the obvious. For example, how many credentials, certifications, classes, degrees, etc. do you continually need to accumulate in an attempt to be prepared, to look good enough, and to be good enough?

Anytime you decide to go for your dreams, meet a new goal, or have a better experience, you are going to “hit the wall.” I don’t mean to sound negative. This is actually very good news. If you didn’t hit the wall, you wouldn’t be going beyond where you have ever been before.

Maintaining enthusiasm and focus on your dream for a soulful and financially rewarding business during times of challenge and inevitable delays might be easy at first, yet, how long can you continue your enthusiasm when your dream takes longer than you had hoped for?
