JONATHAN EDWARDS is one of America’s finest songwriters. THE RUA are two sisters and a brother with an Irish heritage that live in Windsor, England. They are Classically trained, write all of their own songs and music, play a variety of instruments, are actors (appeared in all of the Harry Potter movies, Thor, etc.) but prefer to follow their musical path. The band is legitimately breaking overseas and their first album, 'Essence' has just been released. CHORO DAS 3 is a Brazilian instrumental group of three sisters and their father that first started to play as a band in 2002. Corina plays flute and piccolo. Lia plays 7-string guitar. The music they play is called Choro which is a form of urban jazz native to Brazil that shares a similar feel with New Orleans jazz or ragtime or bluegrass. They have 3 albums and have played for millions of people, including Brazil's Presidents, Governors and Ministers. WoodSongs Kids: Ellie and Caleb Long are from Lexington, Kentucky. They are a brother and sister duo who feature some dynamic harmony vocals.

SHOOK TWINS are an Indie folk-pop band now hailing from coniferous forested Portland, Oregon. Identical twins, Katelyn and Laurie Shook, Kyle Volkman and Niko Daoussis form the core quartet. AJ GHENT BAND is a 3rd generation sacred steel player. He and his band perform a mixture of driving R&B, soul, funk and rock n' roll, out of Atlanta. AJ's great uncle Willie Eason was among those who popularized gospel lap steel in the early 1900's, and his father Aubrey Ghent tours the world playing lap steel for the Slide Brothers. Ghent has chosen to take the roots of his family's musical heritage and definitely place it in the present, using custom-made stand-up eight-string lap steel and Telecaster hybrids. The band's debut album 'Live At Terminal West' is a testament to both his mind-boggling guitar skills and infectious enthusiasm as a performer. WoodSongs Kid: The Peyton Sisters are a family duo consisting of two sisters, Rachael age 11 and Riley age 12. The girls live in Southern Illinois. Some of his main influences include Earl Scruggs, Bill Monroe and J. D. Crowe. Playing weekly, Jonah has had the privilege of picking on stage with great artists including Balsam Range, Doyle Lawson, Nu- BLu, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, Ralph Stanley II and the Boxcars. He also has appeared on several different television and radio stations. Recently Jonah was chosen to perform at the world renowned festivals such as Merlefest and Houstonfest. He has had several shows on The Pickin Porch, with Tim White, in Bristol Va. This year also includes appearances at WoodSongs, a guest spot with Ricky Skaggs, The Museum of Appalachia and John C. Campbell Folk School. He is endorsed by Deering Banjos, GHS Strings, and Peterson's Tuners. Jonah has a band that he performs with on a regular basis, which includes his brother Grayson. Their band name is Jonah Riddle & Carolina Express. Grayson Riddle is only 11 years old. He lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Grayson has a love for his Martin guitar. He started playing in church when he was only 5. He plays several other instruments including the fiddle and upright bass. He also sings lead vocal. Grayson won 2nd place at the NC State fair in the singing competition. He has played on stage with Balsam Range, Darin & Brooke Aldridge and the Boxcars. TOM PAXTON is a legendary singer/songwriter. Paxton headed to Greenwich Village in the early ’60s, just in time to join Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, Joan Baez and other troubadours who took over coffeehouse stages and took on the world. Paxton has been raising his rich voice in song ever since, carrying on the folk tradition with passion, wit and grace. Tom received a 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy during the 51st Annual GRAMMY® Awards. CELTIC AIRE is the premier Celtic and folk ensemble of the United States Air Force. Formed in 2007, the group is comprised of five Airmen musicians from The United States Air Force Band’s Singing Sergeants, the official chorus of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to community relations concerts in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding area, this small ensemble regularly performs at official functions for military and civilian leaders. In 2009, Celtic Aire deployed to Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar and Kyrgyzstan in support of diplomatic and troop morale initiatives as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom. The band has developed a large repertoire of Celtic folk songs, Irish reels and jigs, pub songs, and even cover versions of pop songs. BEN SOLLEE is a Kentucky-born cellist, singer-songwriter, and composer known for his innovative playing style, genre-bending songwriting, electrifying performances, political activism, and wide appeal. Like his contemporaries Chris Thile and Abigail Washburn, Sollee’s music is difficult to pin down. It’s Ben’s quality of narrative and presence on stage that unifies his musical influences.
