Stay on this road for approximately 20 minutes before turning right into Glentanner Park. This view across the delta of Lake Pukaki can be stunning at sunset.

Continue on Anzac Pde for about 12km (7.5miles) before turning left at the roundabout onto Pine Avenue. Find a park and walk across the golf course (watch out for flying golf balls!) to the rocks & this spectacular view.
Nuusafee Island Samoa Time: 1:38pm Season: Autumn Temperature: 31ºC, 88ºF Elevation: 2m, 7ft Heading: NE Barometric Pressure: 1009.9 hPa GPS: S14º 02' 50.2" W171º 41' 23.3" Directions: This one takes a bit more effort to get to! From 'Coconuts Beach Club Resort & Spa', arrange with one of the boat operators to take you to Nuusafee Island. It is worth the half-hour journey across choppy seas in a small boat to spend the day alone on this tiny island in the middle of the sapphire blue ocean!
Tasman Glacier Lake South Island, New Zealand Time: 1.28pm Season: Autumn Temperature: 12ºC, 54ºF Elevation: 818m, 2684ft Barometric Pressure: 1021.1 hPa GPS: S43º 41' 45.7" E170º 10' 06.4" Directions: Drive towards the Mt Cook National Park on Mt Cook Road. Look out for signs on your right to the Tasman Valley. Follow the signs and park in the designated area, then follow the track up the hill for this spectacular view of the Tasman Glacier Lake.
Wentworth Falls Blue Mountains, Australia Time: 2:13pm Season: Winter Temperature: 4ºC, 39ºF Elevation: 613m, 2011ft Barometric Pressure: 1019.4 hPa GPS: S33º 43' 40.3" E150º 22' 24.4" Directions: From the Great Western Highway, drive past the turn-off to Wentworth Falls village and turn left down Falls Road. Follow to the end. Park in the carpark provided and follow signs to Wentworth Falls for spectacular views of the Falls and Jamison Valley. Take your time on the steps - it's a strong climb!

When you come to the end of the Beach Fales, cross over the stone fence at the steps and walk along the beach. Cross the inlet to the mangroves and keep walking around the point for this lovely view.
Gog & Magog from the beach Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia Time: 12:08pm Season: Summer Temperature: 31ºC, 88ºF Elevation: 2m, 7ft Barometric Pressure: 1010.5 hPa GPS: S38º 40' 03.3" E143º 06' 31.4" Directions: From Port Campbell drive east for approx. 10 minutes. Follow signs to the 12 Apostles. Once at the carpark you will see the path under the road to the viewing area. Follow the signs to Gibson's Steps. Tide and weather permitting you can access the beach and these spectacular limestone stacks created by the Southern Ocean's constant erosion of the cliff face.
Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, Australia Time: 2:51pm Season: Autumn Temperature: 24ºC, 75ºF Elevation: 4m, 13ft Barometric Pressure: 1006.5 hPa GPS: S33º 51' 52.5" E151º 13' 03.8" Directions: From central Sydney walk Nth down George St until you reach Albert St at Circular Quay. Go past the ferry wharves towards the Opera House. Walk right across the Opera House forecourt and head into the Royal Botanic Gardens to enjoy Sydney's bird life and large numbers of Fruit Bats - native to Australia and found nowhere else in the world.
Little Bay Sydney, Australia Time: 4:20pm Season: Autumn Temperature: 16ºC, 61ºF Elevation: 0m, 0ft Barometric Pressure: 1022.1 hPa GPS: S33º 58' 43.3" E151º 15' 10.5" Directions: From central Sydney drive east up Oxford Street, turning right onto Flinders which becomes Anzac Parade. Find a park and walk down to Little Bay Beach - a secluded spot only about 15 minutes drive from Sydney.
Lake Pukaki Leaning Tree South Island, New Zealand Time: 2.08pm Season: Autumn Temperature: 15ºC, 59ºF Elevation: 545m, 1788ft Barometric Pressure: 1014.3 hPa GPS: S44º 01' 29.0" E170º 11' 51.6" Directions: Approach Lake Pukaki on Highway 8. Follow Hwy 8 as it turns right around the base of the lake, then turn left onto Hayman Road. About 9kms up Hayman Road you can park and walk down to the edge of the lake where this tree clings to the bank after days of fierce storms.
