"Riddle Me This Washington" on "A Muslim and A Catholic Wake Up in 'Merica" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:48:00

Tonight on A Muslim & A Catholic Wake Up In ‘Merica Isa & Common Cal pose some very interesting and puzzling questions to you. How does ‘Merica stack up against the global economy? Are we at the top with all of the over-taxation? How is it we can vote down a tax increase, but the elected officials can still do it against our will?  How is it we can pay farmers to not grow food because we "have too much" but yet we have over 5 million starving people in the USA? Why can our taxes pay for so many things but not for housing the homeless? There are enough vacant houses in the USA that each homeless person could have six. Offer up your ideas, thoughts and questions tonight on A Muslim & A Catholic Wake Up In ‘Merica. 8:00pm EST/5:00pm PST. Broadcast on wakeupinmerica.com, jreveradio.com and Coffee Party USA Radio Network

"Why Do They Lie and Why Won't They Help?" on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:54:00

It's 2015 and we are "celebrating" another Veteran's Day this week. Communities all over the country are parading and honoring the Vets that are family, friends, and neighbors.  Politicians around the country will no doubt spend much time telling us the importance of our Veterans and why they should be so honored. But as a society and as a government we do the opposite. Veteran's are homeless, Veteran's have to continually fight for medical and mental health ACCESS and benefits in a timely way or at all.  Now that our government actually acknowledges that PTSD exists, they deny access to Cannabis as treatment and the DEA Chief says it is a joke that Cannabis is argued to have medicinal value.  Why do they lie?  It is one of the great tragedies of our society the way we have treated our Vets. In 2013, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs released a study that covered suicides from 1999 to 2010, which showed that roughly 22 veterans were committing suicide per day, or one every 65 minutes. America sure has a very "dull" shining light these days.  Join me for this important discussion. Longtime Activist, Journalist, Coffee Party Director & Radio Host, Bobby Rodrigo brings you "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" on the Coffee Party USA Radio Network every Sunday Morning at 10:00 AM. Advocating engagement Bobby points out the Constitution is the Rule of Law and why it should remain so. Money in Politics, the Political Party Machine, Cannabis Prohibition and partisan blind allegiance is on full display as he advocates against the erosion of Constitutional Protections in the name of corruption & tyranny. "If we focused on following the Constitution we would solve many of the ills of our society.”  Offering guests from Political Organizations, Activism, Media & Artists Bobby invites you to join him Sunday Morning at 10:00 AM on Coffee Party USA Radio.

The Debate That Cried Out for Civility and Reason: Lunch with Louden 11/05/15. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

The most recent primary candidate debate was a political scream for help. “Are you a comic book version of a president?” I was shocked and remain concerned about the lack of civility and reason. Those of us who value civility and reason now have a perfect compass point for our stand: that we, the people, deserve adult, fact based, and respectable discussion on meaningful issues before this republic’s democracy.  On November 6th, the day after this broadcast, there will be a candidate forum moderated by Rachel Maddow, and on November 14th the next primary candidate debate will be moderated by John Dickerson. Charlie Rose asked Mr. Dickerson if the last debate was "a teachable moment"? I think it was. And you? You can share your observations about this most recent debate and thoughts about your hopes for future debates by calling in, participating in chat during the broadcast OR you can join the ongoing conversaton between now and air time on Lunch with Louden

"Faith and Politics" a "Living Room Conversation" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:47:00

What is it that you believe about any greater meaning to your life?  How do those beliefs relate to your political actions? We are going to pursue these questions and more this October and November as the Coffee Party USA hosts a special series of Living Room Conversations around the intersection of faith and politics. Beginning October 18, Oprah Winfrey presents the seven-night event, "Belief," a groundbreaking television event exploring humankind's ongoing search to connect with something greater than ourselves. We encourage our Coffee Party USA members  to both watch this series as well as consider participating in one of the OWN network sponsored discussion groups being held around the country.  Then, join us for one of our Coffee Party USA special conversations on faith and politics.  No matter what you believe about why we exist or the meaning of life --- whether you are religious, spiritual, atheist or agnostic --- your thoughts and faith impact your political actions and decisions. Come explore that interaction with us! First, we are holding a series of small conference call “Living Room Conversations” where you will be able to dialogue with others on this topic.  Our hosts will guide all of the participants through a set of questions designed to help you understand how your faith in your answers to life’s “bigger questions” relates to your political life.  Secondly, we invite you to listen to a special online Coffee Party USA Blogtalkradio program on November 4 at 8:30pm (eastern time) where you can listen in to the recording of one of these conversations.  Link will be available soon for this program. So mark your calendars to watch “Belief”....and then join us for one of these special Coffee Party USA events!

#seekingjustice: "How To Get Away With Murder" on I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:56:00

"An appalling 346 people died in Florida prisons last year … it is the responsibility of the governor's office to ensure the safety of the state's prisons. But under the leadership of Gov. Scott, conditions have deteriorated." A coalition of 14 human rights groups this past Thursday called for a U.S. Department of Justice investigation into Florida state prisons, contending that "immediate intervention" is necessary to stop the widespread abuse, neglect, torture and deaths of inmates in the Florida Department of Corrections. In a letter to Assistant Attorney General Vanita Guputa, the group cited a list of suspected criminal and civil rights violations against prisoners, including torture and death by starvation, excessive use of force, medical neglect, misuse of solitary confinement, suicide, sexual assault and death and torture by scalding. Attorney Randall C. Berg, Executive Director of the Florida Justice Institute and Author/Whistle Blower George Mallinckrodt, join me Sunday Morning to discuss why this letter was sent and what we need to know about this very important issue.

Politics Done Right - Wake up. The media is laying the rational for war | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

This week I will touch on the comedy skit that was the Republican Debate. But that was not the real news of the week. Americans are kept entertained by the idiocy of an incoherent pointless political game as the real game is played elsewhere but in from of our eyes. Today I will discuss the drumbeat to war. The drums however are not being beaten by the Obama administration. Yes we know all American presidents have a proclivity to war, its the gravity of the U.S. presidency. But this time it is the media as wards of the military industrial complex doing it. At first it was somewhat subliminal. Now it is in your face. What are your thoughts? Let’s  talk. I will also be following our hashtag #PoliticsDoneRight on Twitter @EgbertoWillies. Give me a call, listen to the live stream, or listen to the podcast/vlogcast. We are also broadcasting live on Periscope at handle EgbertoWillies. Blog of the week Please LIKE our Facebook page and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel

"Winston Churchill Reporting" on "The Tim Danahey Show" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:49:00

Churchill’s father said Winston lacked common sense and intelligence. He was not optimistic about his prospects. Churchill did not focus in school but he had an interest in military history and tactics. When he joined the cavalry, things began to change. He worked as a war correspondent in Cuba, India, Sudan, and South Africa. He began to realize he was a man of destiny and his experiences transformed him. He also realized traditional wars against guerrillas were pointless. Listen to a wonderful conversation with author Simon Read about his new book, “Winston Churchill Reporting”.  The Tim Danahey Show started in July, 2010 at internet station Castle Rock Radio. The show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests. Politics and inflammatory conversations are discouraged as they are divisive and counter-productive. Instead, the show seeks under-reported topics and delves into facts, different perspectives, and ramifications of each perspective. The show does not espouse a political agenda nor does it seek to inflame particular constituencies. The show treats all guests politely and with respect. There is no rambling discourse or personal attacks. This show is one of the highest quality and professional programs available. Tim Danahey’s strength is to take complex subjects, talk with experts, and make them comprehensible and entertaining for average listeners. Please join Tim and his guests every Monday Night 9:00 PM Eastern/6:00 PM Pacific on Coffee Party Radio.

#seekingjustice "Liberty Under Attack..Again" on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:53:00

When laws and practice are applied with discrimination and is shown easily, when the DEA raids Native American Lands and remove a cannabis harvest, when laws are created that are unconstitutional and threaten liberty, it certainly means we need to stand up and shout. When an attorney is arrested and charged for "stalking" a state attorney general because she wants answers to an injustice and accountability of an elected official we need to stand up.  When our bombs are killing civilians and the military does not even acknowledge it is happening and we only find out about it because of whistleblowers we need to stand up.I need to rant.  The stories just keep on coming and we need to stand up.  Please join me for this important discussion. Sunday morning on Coffee Party USA Radio at 10:00 AM Eastern/7:00 AM Pacific. ngtime Activist, Journalist, #Coffee Party USA Board of Director & Radio Host, Bobby Rodrigo brings you “#I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee“. There are just a few short months before Congress will vote on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. Organizations across America are gearing up for the last chapter in the fight to prevent the TPP from becoming law. While polls show a lack of public support for the TPP, there are also indicators that where one stands appears to depend upon which side of the Board Room door one sits. Let's talk about what is planned and what YOU can do to make the voice of the people heard. Thursday, October 22, 2015, at Noon/Pacific/3:00 PM Eastern on Coffee Party USA Radio.

"Trump's Mouth, The Debate and Licenses, Licenses, Licenses" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:55:00

Is Trump correct in referring to the most recent political debate as the Democrate debate?  Isa & Common Cal will give you the run down attempting to make sense out of Trump's comical nonsense. Licenses, Permits and undeserved revenue everywhere, Oh my!  License to drive, license to play online video games, license to fly RC planes and drones that you can purchase at any local department store. Permits to exercise your right to free speech, and, even licenses are needed to feed your family. Does this go for or against one’s civil liberties and constitutional protections? What about biblical?  And is it quranical? Preying on the elderly, weak and ill for profit. Say it isn’t so? Big pharma and "AIDS' profiteer", Martin Shrekli, are at it again. Isa & Common Cal facing the facts and truth head on, and pulling no punches along the way. Join in on the discussion Tuesday night 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PM PST for "A Muslim & A Catholic Wake Up In ‘Merica". Broadcast on wakeupinmerica.com, jrevradio.com and Coffee Party USA Radio Network

"Military Reform Begins with Personnel Reform" on the Tim Danahey Show | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:00

Why is an officer with four years of experience the most effective? Why won’t a military official with more than four years experience speak out against abuses? Does the current glut of officers cause dangers for our troops on the front lines? How do military personnel policies allow programs like the F-35 and Littoral combat ships continue despite being rife with flaws? Listen to an interesting conversation with former military officer and current member of the Project on Government Oversight, Dan Grazier, as he explains the deep flaws in current policies and the hope changes are on the way.  The Tim Danahey Show started in July, 2010 as a one-day-per week endeavor and quickly grew to five days per week. Every Monday Night on Coffee Party USA Radio 9:00 PM Eastern/6:00 PM Pacific. The show does not espouse a political agenda nor does it seek to inflame particular constituencies. The show treats all guests politely and with respect. There is no rambling discourse or personal attacks. This show is one of the highest quality and professional programs available.
