Finding Our Priorities | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2249

Some of our pubs say they will be opening in the near future and they will be having social distancing.....but personally I don't think I would take the chance until this lot has cleared...and I can't see that happening this year....could be wrong.....the problem with this virus is it is world wide so it makes finding someone to blame (which we always have to do here) impossible....although the negative brigade do their best....and some airlines are still packing people on planes....what is it they can't see about the problem?.....not to mention the football situation....they are intending to play matches behind closed doors (nothing to do with money of course) but some of the players think the risk of catching the virus and taking it home to their families is to great..........couldn't agree more.

 Confusion Reigns! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3635

With this terrible global pandemic now hitting almost every country on earth I chatted with Terry Whitehead as to how he sees developments As Spain comes out of a very severe lockdown the process will be as follows Gradual: Social activity and social mobility will not be recovered suddenly; instead, it will be done in stages In the UK....Social distancing orders for people to keep two metres apart to stop the spread of coronavirus is not based on any scientific research, a government adviser has said.

 Pandemic Confusion! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2363

The virus situation is getting pretty desperate....and we have politicians prattling on about what might "possibly" happen....I know it's a new situation we are in but they don't seem to have a clue.....we can only go out to exercise or get food or medicine yet planes are landing at airports with passengers from countries where the virus is rife...and they just swarm off and into the country....not to mention the arguments as to whether we should wear masks.....apparently this country's self isolation is a lot less harsh than elsewhere which is obviously why people are still dying.....you can cram on the tube yet you can't have a game of golf on your own.....in years to come someone will make a film of all this and no-one will believe it.

 Pandemic Rages | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2073

We are still in lockdown and most people seem to have got the message....but there's always the odd one....you know the type.......they don't seem to grasp that no matter how hard you think you are this virus doesn't really care.....they had some oaf in America announcing that .... all this is a hoax....not a lot of hope really......but I do feel sorry for those who are not computer-literate....getting on-line does help...it's hard to believe isn't it....it's like a bad dream.....I can't see this ending very soon....but at least we can get out for a bit of exercise which helps

Will the Lockdown Work? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2288

Don Woods looks at The continuing lockdown and how the virus continues to seriously affect the nation.....at least the majority of people obeyed the rules over the Easter holiday...with of course the usual morons who don't think it applies to them....but it's hard to see where this will end...the number of casualties continues to rise so our "isolation" doesn't seem to be having much effect......and of course all the amateur politicians are wading in on Facebook with their pointless criticisms of the Government....which serve no positive purpose....whingeing and whining from your armchair solves nothing.....yes action should have been taken earlier but it's a problem we have never had and certainly weren't expecting....however we still have planes landing from overseas and passengers not being checked which seems a bit stupid but the main thing at the moment is the lack of protective equipment for the NHS....as I say I don't know what the answer is...if there is one. Don Woods
