The Platform Podcast show

The Platform PodcastJoin Now to Follow

The Platform Podcast is the creation of two best friends — hundreds of miles apart — who wanted to share the music they love (as legally as possible) and the conversations they have. These two friends are the kind of guys whom you would swear have a personal code against listening to bands played on radio stations that transmit at greater than 5 watts. While certainly not above nostalgic or even mainstream pleasures, they know you can get such things from pretty much anywhere at any time. You all know the type. They can talk about great works of literature and film. They can kick your ass at Grand Theft Auto. The key points in their sexual development were Whitesnake videos and Colonel Wilma Deering in Buck Rodgers. You love them anyway. So, don’t think of this as a podcast. It’s more like a form of opt-in auditory vandalism. Download us. Listen. Tell us what you think.

My name is Dave Rabbit. I did three tours in Vietnam from 1968 to 1971. In 1971, I wanted to do something for the front line troops WITHOUT CENSORSHIP and CREATED Radio First Termer. My Radio First Termer Podcasts include, among other things, a series of 4 recordings of one of my 21 Pirate Radio Broadcasts that were done from a Whore House in Downtown Saigon, Vietnam from January 1 to January 21, 1971 and were broadcasted LIVE throughout Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. It is the only KNOWN recorded show from that period of time. These recordings contain EXPLICIT MATERIAL, HARD ACID ROCK MUSIC, GI HUMOR and POLITICAL ANTI-WAR COMMENTS about the issues of the times which, of course, were SEX, DRUGS and ROCK and ROLL. These shows were created for the entertainment of the troops that put their lives on the line EVERY DAY in Vietnam and who were part of the huge Anti-War movement which was happening within the ranks of the military itself against the war in Vietnam. We SHUT DOWN at 11 p.m. on January 21, 1971 to prevent GETTING CAUGHT, as there was tremendous pressure on those that were protecting us. Had it not been for a tremendous underground movement, we would have been caught, court martialed and thrown in prison. Listener Discretion Is ADVISED!````On July 11th, 2007 a NEW WEEKLY SHOW called ATS MIX was created and launched.````http://daverabbit.podomatic.com

Daniel Chiasson is a solo musician/songwriter who is seeking a recording contract with an independent record label. He is new to the industry and would like independent recording labels to listen his material. Even though he is not established within the industry and that his publicity has just started, he is hoping that a record label might listen, watch and approach him with a contract. Daniel knows it\'s a risk for any recording company to sign in a newcomer, but he is hoping that the label would go to his site from time to time to observe his publicity. Daniel has all kinds of musical pieces in his memory to last him years down the road. Link to Publication: http://www.showcaseyourmusic.com/daniel ABOUT AUTHOR Daniel is a musician who is 36 years old. He has 29 years experience as a musician.
