A Suggestion November 8, 2009 Miladin Miladinoski (OK, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A good beginning for a show, intriguing and such, but it has some too obvious parts (at least for me) that spoil it - a reason for the lower rating.

There are millions of hearing impared people in the US. It's time to realize this.
We can't enjoy the show without CC.

Just Goofy November 5, 2009 David Palmer 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
I was very intrigued by the previews for this show and the first half or so of this pilot was just as intriguing. But unfortunately the plot took a turn for the worst as it transitioned from intelligent to goofy. I was surprised at the ending, simply because I couldn't conceive it being contrived. At least they had the decency to make the big reveal in the first episode instead of stringing us along for an entire season or more. Now at least I know not to watch any more. You may not consider the ending of this episode a "big reveal," but it would have been, had they declined to reveal it until later. Instead they leave the audience with no mystery, just a go-getter speech. I can't say I'm interested in watching episode two. I'm not interested in the plot anymore, I'm not interested in the characters and I certainly have no expectation that the writers will pull through and create an intelligent and engaging show after this episode. Maybe they will, but I don't expect it.
Great Start To What I Hope Will Be A Great Show November 5, 2009 Melissa Oxendale (FL United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was great! It did an amazing job of bringing V to today. Please give it a try and keep your mind open.
It was a very entertaining hour. :)
I liked the characters. Now Ana is not Diana, but I like her none the less.
I can't wait to see what comes next.

This is an amazing pilot. Loved the introduction to characters and the strong connections to current events. Absolutely beautiful well planned shots with talented actors and well thought out hooks. Great plot twists: even when you see them coming you jump. I was told about the old show, but I think it might have needed to wait for it's time...now.
