About Alex

Alex is co-editor of Digital Podcast. In addition to co-editing Digital Podcast, Alex actively advises companies in the social and new media value chain who need to more successfully monetize their businesses. He focuses on turning communities into economies, engaging and activating super fans and on the advertising supply chain.

Alex is also a co-founder of Coplenish Consulting Group, where leads the company’s sales and business development efforts in addition to heading client engagements. Prior to co-founding Coplenish, Alex was President and CEO of Sameday Technologies, a provider of third party fulfillment services and supply chain execution software. In addition, Alex was a Partner and Director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a leading management consultancy, for fifteen years. He focused on developing strategy and improving operational performance in supply chain and distribution intensive industries, such as automotive, consumer goods, and health care.

Alex has also served as a board member of the YMCA of Greater Long Beach and Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the Los Altos Family YMCA.
