Google To Shut Down Video Retail Operation
The NY Times is reporting that Google is closing its video retail operation.
The company will stop offering download-to-own and download-to-rent programs on Wednesday, according to an e-mail message sent to customers yesterday. Google started selling shows like â€Survivor†in January 2006.
I didn’t even know Google had a video store. I guess they aren’t perfect after all.
