Google Adsense is Testing Streaming Ads for Video Publishers

by Alex Nesbitt

Google is launching a pilot with a small group of publishers to test streaming video ads in their online video content. It announced on the Adsense blog that it is launching its Adsense for video pilot extending AdSense to online video content. Publishers in this test will be able to define at what point in their videos that streaming video ads will appear.

It will be a closed pilot which means that most video podcasters will not be able to test out the service. It will be interesting to see how and where they test it.
