Search engine relevancy is a joke - a video case study
What’s the most relevant site for video on the web. Google, Yahoo and Microsoft all seem to have different opinions.
Surprise, surprise - google thinks video.google.com, followed by youtube.com, is the most relevant site to return for search term video.

Yahoo seems to think that music videos at yahoo is the most relevant search result for the term video.

And MSN is at least humble enough to think that yahoo video is number one and that Soapbox, Microsoft’s video project, is number two.

If these three sites, who control 85% of searches on the internet, decide that they are the most relevant websites for video where does that leave Hollywood.
More importantly, if they choose to rank their own sites above competition in their search results who is going to protect consumers when they start ranking their advertisers ahead of truly relevant results.
