Online Video versus TV - Is it eroding or growing?

A study commissioned by the BBC indicates that the online video boom is starting to eat into TV viewing time for 43 percent of the surveyed population.

While the headline indicates that “Online video eroding TV viewing”, TV viewing may be going down for some, total viewing is going up for 54% of the survey group saying they watch as much TV as before and online is extra. 3% say they watch even more TV.

The thing to watch is the youth. They seem to be completely breaking with other generations. For them online may be what TV was for the baby Boomers.
