Comcast has launched their own YouTube clone at Ziddio.com .

The site seems to be focused on using contests to drive video submissions. The current contest is for Star Wars lovers - Join the Jedi Order. The idea isn’t really clear from the site, but it seems to be offering to put the winners on TV.

I’d love to show it off to you, but I could not find out how to embed one of their videos into wordpress.

If you want to Ziddio, you better have Internet Explorer as the site seems to break when viewed using Firefox.

Comcast has a long way to go if they want this to be a real competitor to the likes of YouTube.
