lol omg u guys are complete noobs im 14yearsold and i got videos working on mine!! lol XD k ill help you noobs out first of all, if something goes wrong ur an idiot because all you have to do is run the inmstaller. there are two ways to get movies onto your nano. rockbox.org and ipodlinux.org ipod linux is easier to use bcause it reads avi files WITH SOUND while rockbox plays straight video and its hard even for me to convert them using commmand prompt. if anything goes wrong, just restore ur ipod using apples updater(google it or get irt @ apple site)and if youre really scared backup your fiules b4 u do anthing. btw, your files WILLNOT BE DELETED with rockbox, BUT THEY WILL with linux.

you see i tried downloading this but it failed and completely killed my 3-day-old nano. Resulting in that my brother and i had to go get another one (we exchanged it for no money gone) so we went to walmart and got it. i was hoping you could tell me the CORRECT way to do this intallation. I have a PC. Please email me back.

yes it is possible to play videos on the nano.
NOTE: (1) the nano will not play .M4V format the video has to be in AVI format so its not worth trying this with a full leanth movie unless it has been encoded to a smaller size. (2) am hopeing you are at least familiar with basic unix commands like 'ls' and 'cd'. If not, go do some research (3) sorry PC people this can only be aaccomplished on a mac running OS 10.3 and up. if you meet these requirements just click on the link and follow the directions and your nano will be playing videos in no time.
