In an interesting blend of podcasting, community and conspiracy theory,
AboveTopSecret.com has introduced “Community Podcasting”. The service allows any member with a computer, a microphone, and an idea to publish a podcast through one of AboveTopSecret.com’s ten podcast feeds.

The site is also introducing “PODthreads”, what it calls “collaborative podcast discussions and debates from multiple podcasters on a single topic, organized into a dedicated podcast feed”. There are currently over sixty PODthread feeds with topics ranging from conspiracies in the war on terrorism, commentary on the government’s response to Katrina, strategies for dealing with H5N1, spirituality, and more.

I don’t know if there is a conspiracy here or not, but I find the concepts of Community Podcasting and Podthreads worth watching.
