Yahoo to Increase Price for Music Downloads
Yahoo Music sent an email to subscribers announcing that it will increase the price on its portable subscription download service. Effective November 1st, pricing on portable subscriptions will move from $4.99 to $9.99 per month for those that pay annually, and from $6.99 to $11.99 per month without the annual pre-purchase.
The increases will not affect users of the PC-based service, which still maintains its rock-bottom, $4.99 per month charge for annual subscribers.
