iTunes 6 Upgrade Causing Some iPod Problems

by

Apple’s iPod discussion boards have been quite active since the iTunes 6 upgrade with concerns over some iPods not working after the upgrade, including mine.

“After updating to 6.0 my computer won’t recognize my ipod. Apple says to update the ipod, but how are we to do that if the computer won’t even recognize it in the first place.” says one post. The number of posts seem to indicate that this is not an isolated problem.

Users appear to be frustated that Apple has not yet taken corrective action.

I’ve recently installed ITunes 6, and have had problems downloading Podcasts (keep getting : “Network Connection Timed Out”…well, I’ve started using IPodder (free software) instead, and it works fine. It will send all your downloaded Podcasts to your ITunes.

Hey, Everywhere I look I see that peoples iTunes 6.0 podcast connection timed out, but my iTunes times out when I am trying to buy a song, looking through the songs, or even just listening to my own music through itunes.
