Catch your Casts with eMail
Podomatic has just opened it doors to users. Their concept is to integrate podcatching with email.
The basic process –
1. Signup for an email address
2. Download our client (podAmigo)
3. The client takes mp3s emailed to your account and puts them into
iTunes or Windows Media.
They have also built a podcasting site with audio mixing and creation
tools, a search engine, and a podcatcher we call podAmigo. The mixing
tools make automatic music beds so that it is extremely easy to build a
quick podcast. From there a user can either podMail their podcast or
post it to their own podcast page.
Right now Podomatic gives users 250mb for free. They plan to begin offering more storage once they determine their pricing structure.
