Stephanie was recognized by the EMS 10 Innovator awards for her work educating both hospital and pre-hospital staff in the Denver, Colorado area about the specific presentation and needs of pediatric stroke patients. Nurses find themselves influencing health care in their communities in so many ways but it starts by recognizing a need.
