Summary: Glenn Oliver Parkhurst, author of Bled Out, takes his audience on another gripping tale with the release of The Ulasiga. He has used the mountains of Salt Lake City as the setting for this tale. The steep rocky trails, hiked often by Glenn, became the perfect place for this gripping thriller pitting man against monster. Glenn never intended to write. When his sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he wrote her poems as a way to alleviate his fear and express how deeply he loved her. Months later, his children lost their mother and the poetry continued. This sparked a desire he never imagined. Glenn has altered his whole life and continues to do so as a way to feed his wanderlust. He loves to volunteer and has a soft spot for the less fortunate. From September 2000 through September 2001, Glenn traveled to every state and performed volunteer work as a way to promote volunteerism. This adventure led to his carrying the Olympic torch for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Glenn not only writes thrillers but has published Bled Out and the Ulasiga, supernatural thrillers. He has also published humor and has written romance and Christmas stories. Glenn has 3 other wonderful sisters, both his parents, four sons,11 grandchildren, and a host of family to which he is known as Uncle Glenn.
