The Daniel Morcombe Foundation is a charity founded by Bruce and Denise Morcombe, in loving memory of their son Daniel. Daniel Morcombe was just 13 years old in 2003 when he was abducted from the Sunshine Coast in QLD. It took over 8 years for his remains to be found and for a resident of the coast to be charged with his murder. The Morcombe family were faced with every parents worst nightmare and there is not a resident in Queensland who isn't familiar with the heartache this family has endured. Bruce and Denise are well known for their courage to make a difference in the lives of children by providing resources to keep children safe and the work they do with The Morcombe Foundation is truly inspiring and impactful.
