Summary: 1/6/2020<br><br>Season 10, Episode 65 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora and I start by going over what all transpired during the Wildcard games over the weekend and if there was anything to learned from them.<br><br>Has quarterback Tom Brady now played his final game for the New England Patriots. We discuss his situation as well as what the Patriots need to do to get back to the top should Brady return.<br><br>The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly hired Mike McCarthy to be their new head coach so Alex and I briefly discuss that news and how the Cleveland Browns may have messed up by missing out on him.<br><br>We talk about the ability of a quarterback in the NFL to extend a play and the value of that and if that value is seemingly growing across the league. We also discuss a quarterbacks ability to run and the value of that in today’s NFL.<br><br>After talking some about how well a few team’s ran the football over the weekend, Alex and I discuss the value of a good running game. We also recap the Steelers current situation at the running back position and go over how the level of need at that position this offseason in regard to the draft.<br><br>How did the Steelers 2019 draft class do this past season? Alex and I spend a good 30 minutes discussing every player selected and reviewing their rookie seasons from top to bottom. This means quite a bit of talk about inside linebacker Devin Bush, wide receiver Diontae Johnson, cornerback Justin Layne, running back Benny Snell Jr. and defensive end Isaiah Buggs.<br><br>Alex and I finally close out this Monday show by answering several email questions we received from listeners.<br><br>As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.<br><br>Thanks for listening and don’t forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends!
