Summary: The hot news this morning: the Samsung Galaxy S III has been announced for US carriers... and boy, are they going big. News has been trickling out since last night about the launch and here's what I've pieced together: The SGSIII will be launched on five US carriers, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T... and US Cellular. And, it looks as if the only difference between each carrier hardware wise will be whether it has an LTE radio in it, or strictly a GSM radio. I gotta say, for $199... this is a hell of a device. Samsung is doing it right this time around, hitting the carriers with the same device with the same features at the same price point. Ladies and gentlemen, Samsung came to play... and with the impending release of the iPhone 5, they are going to need it.
