The best art is created when you don’t judge yourself or change or stop doing and releasing content because of someone’s stupid opinion.<br> <br> Stop using being perfectionist as an excuse and be real with yourself and see that your fear of other people’s opinions is stopping you from being great<br> <br> Stop worrying about looking or sounding like somebody else.<br> <br> Everything that you hear has been created already. You’re just hearing a new remix of it.<br> <br> That’s why Pablo Picasso famously said the quote “Good Artist Copy Great Artist Steal”.<br> <br> Now I don’t believe you should steal anyone’s work. But I do believe that everything has already been done in some shape or form.<br> <br> Its our job to just be ourselves and let what makes us unique shine through our art.<br> <br> That’s why cover artists are cover artists and artists that make quote on quote original music have their own identity.<br> <br> And even they get put in a box as well sometimes when they get asked who do you sound like.<br> <br> But both cover artists and artists that make original music are both valuable.<br> <br> I’m known for doing both, I’m shifting towards creating more original music because I have a different purpose and vision than when I was younger getting free quick attention and monetizing it.<br> <br> I’m focused on creating authenticity.<br> <br> Judgment is stoping you from creating, learning growing and being consistent<br> <br> So don’t be so hard on yourself.<br> <br> Start creating music and bless the world by releasing it.</strong></p> <p><strong>I hope this was very insightful and maybe inspire you to get started on that thing you’ve been putting off for a while.</strong></p> <p><strong>If you enjoyed this episode of the Vic Rose Show, click the link below and donate.
