Sometimes, as sports fans, we get spoiled with successful eras of our favorite organizations and forget just how hard it is to sustain excellence in professional sports. Sustained success is the exception to the rule, to be sure. As Angels fans, the optimism heading into this regular season feels fresh, as if the entire franchise has been reborn.
