History and Technology show

Summary: In the mid 1800's, Texas was battling for independence from Mexico. At a small fort, called the Alamo, around 200 defenders stood up to almost 6,000 Mexican troops in a battle that lasted 13 days and became a rallying cry for independence. In this episode of History and Technology, host Stan Ellsworth looks back at the battle for the Alamo and what it was really all about. The truth is far more colorful than the legend.
