This is episode 4, Ranger Handbook Chapter 3- Fire Support. In this episode we cover the all of the various forms of fire support that a Ranger may have on mission. We begin with indirect fire support, including the 60mm mortar, 81mm mortar, 120mm mortar, 105mm Howitzer, and 155mm Howitzer. During indirect fire support, we cover ranges and capabilities of the various mortar and artillery systems. Chapter 3 also covers Danger Close and well as Risk Estimate Distance for the various systems. After that, we cover the appropriate ways to call for indirect fire support through the grid, known point, and polar methods. Following that, Chapter 3 covers fire support via Close Air Support (CAS) and Attack Aviation. <br>
