Summary: This week we discuss history and culture with Dr. Burchell M. Marcus, Director at Community Advocate Development Organization. We talked Community, education, activism and much more with our elder and fellow history aficionado. Dr. Marcus focuses on advocating for the Brooklyn communities at large by bringing their issues to the forefront with local community leaders and council people. We are the Brooklyn Combine, a not-for-profit community organization. We work with schools, community organizations, and dedicated city officials to help provide mentorship, critical education, leadership, and social support programs to youth and young adults in low-income and underserved communities.
