Jonathan began his career in journalism as an editor for an economics magazine in Washington, D.C. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science, and since his call to ministry, a master of divinity and a Ph.D. in theology. Jonathan lives with his wife and four daughters in a suburb of D.C. where he serves as an elder at Cheverly Baptist Church. In addition to his work at 9Marks, he’s a seminary teacher, article writer, and author.
