The five-time James Beard nominee (and two-time winner) led three restaurants in New Orleans—Domenica, Pizza Domenica, and Shaya—until 2017, when he started Pomegranate Hospitality. This year, he opened Safta (Denver) and Saba (New Orleans). We talk with Alon at San Francisco's The Civic Kitchen.
