Terrible Podcast - Episode 1022

Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 8, Episode 110 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers first week of 2018 OTA practices that wrapped up on Thursday. We discuss the status of wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, how outside linebackers Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt are flipping sides and if there’s much to be read into that. We discuss the Steelers inside linebacker depth chart and how veteran Jon Bostic fits into it. We discuss whether or not linebacker Ryan Shazier would have made a difference in last season’s playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars as well. The Philadelphia Eagles finally parted ways with linebacker Mychal Kendricks this past week so we spend a little bit of time talking about his status. We discuss the Steelers need to play better against the run in 2018 in addition to talking about a few other notes coming out of OTAs this past week that revolve around running back James Conner and offensive lineman Matt Feiler. We will address the new National Anthem policy during Tuesdays podcast as we ran out of time on Friday to do so. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
