Listen weekly on Fridays!</p> <h2>Vikings News</h2> <p><b>Five of eight drafted played have signed contracts:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vikings announce the following rookies have signed their contracts: Daniel Carlson, K (5th round) Colby Gossett, G (6th round) Ade Aruna, DE (6th round) Devante Downs, LB (7th round). Brian O’Neill (2nd round)</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vikings had rookie mini-camp over the weekend. Tyler Conklin looked good.  Mike Hughes worked at slot corner (41 year old Terrance Newman currently plays slot corner) and returned punts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vikings signed four tryout players after rookie minicamp over the weekend: WR Chad Beebe, CB Craig James, FB Johnny Stanton (former UNLV QB who was listed as a TE at rookie camp) and LB Brett Taylor. To make room on the 90 man roster, Minnesota waived LS Nick Dooley, WR Armanti Foreman, DT Caushaud Lyons and FB Kamryn Pettway.</span></p> <h2>Browns News</h2> <p>Hue Jackson to jump in Lake Erie June 1</p> <p>TE Julian Allen and DL Lenny Jones – tryout players signed after rookie minicamp</p> <p>Allen (6-3, 245 lbs) played college most recently at Southern Mississippi, where he logged 22 catches for 298 yards over the past two years. He was graded as the 35th-ranked tight end by Dane Brugler of NFL Draft Scout.</p> <p>Jones (6-2, 256 lbs) is one of two players who were on a tryout but were not rookies technically. At 6-5, 236 pounds, he’s by far the biggest quarterback on the Browns. Over the past two years, he’s spent time on the practice squads of the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, and New York Jets. He has some ties to GM John Dorsey and, for now, will be the fourth quarterback arm in camp.</p>
