Summary: Together, we are the Mom Mafia and we welcome you to spend an hour with us- kick back, unwind and maybe have a drink– because raising little people is hard and we want to help you make it easier- by giving you the two things we believe new moms need the most – Comedy and Community. Each week our podcast will drop on Sunday at bedtime- because in “mom life” that’s our go time. It’s the beginning of a new week, a fresh start, and a blank slate. And that is why we will start out each episode with our Mom Win/Mom Fail of the week. And although we always aim for a week of wins, there will always be fails. Some routine, some epic. And Loxie started this week- because her win is actually at Chelsea's expense…. THIS WEEKS GAME: In the last 24 hours have you: 1 point for each time you used Food/treats to bribe your kid, everytime you snuck a snack you didn’t want your kid to ask for a bite, for every hidden/taken batteries out, one for each time lied to your kid about what was in your cup or what you were eating, for every time you watered down whatever was in your kids cup (juice, lemonade), and Chelsea contributed a special bonus questions. How many points did you get?! I don’t know what we win…except that I am just glad I am not alone in these and so we are all winners just to know that we all lie to our kids…. TOPIC FOR THE WEEK: BUMPS, LUMPS & HUMPS Last week we talked making babies but this week I thought we would delve deeper into that third trimester- where we talk weight gain & fitness, those big bellies, and the complications of pregnancy sex. We will wrap it up there, or maybe this topic will help you all remember to wrap it up tonight… but next part of the series we will talk birth stories!
