GSA sees $100M IT modernization fund as ‘glass half full’

Summary: Congress passed the Modernizing Government Technology Act last year to help bring agencies' systems up to the 21st Century. But until recently, they didn't actually have the money to get started. Last month - as part of the full year appropriations bill - they approved a $100 million technology modernization fund that was supposed to be part of the MGT Act. Now agencies are lining up to get funding for their modernization plans. Federal News Radio's Jory Heckman has the latest.
