What is NASA's urban air mobility initiative?

Summary: Many cities look for ways to reduce vehicle traffic on clogged streets. They're also looking at how to safely increase air traffic above those streets and among all the buildings. It's known as urban air mobility. NASA's aeronautics research mission directorate has been helping this effort with research. Bob Pearce, NASA's deputy associate administrator for strategy, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin to discuss what that initiative entails.
