Sydney Ireland is the First Girl Boy Scout

Pantsuit Nation Podcast show

Summary: This week, we talk with 16-year-old Sydney Ireland, who has been fighting for almost her entire life for the right to be a full-fledged Boy Scout after being an "unofficial" member earning "unofficial" recognition for years. Last year, the Boy Scouts finally announced their policy change, allowing girls to join the organization, but the change won't take effect by the time Sydney would be a candidate for Eagle Scout, something she's worked toward since she was a very young girl. We also talk/vent about Aziz Ansari, award the Golden Pantsuit to a fashion icon and leader for young women, and have our very last (!!) Cat Call. Listen and subscribe.
