Summary: Continuing this episode is the second part of the documentary, "King: Montgomery to Memphis" (1970) portraying the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from 1955 to 1968. Compiled entirely from archival and news footage, it presents an overview of the public life of the human rights leader, through the various moments that exemplified his work. From the early bus boycotts in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1955-56, to an extract from the last address he gave the night before he was killed. In the process it shows Dr. King as he grew from a young minister, to the international moral leader he had become at the time of his death.
