Summary: This is a special 4-hour mix that was made during the height of the debt ceiling crisis in Washington in the Summer of 2011 during the presidency of Barack Obama. It explores the notion of the 'Shock Doctrine' put forth by Naomi Klein in her book by that name and using material made from the documentary based on the book. This is interwoven and augmented by the Adam Curtis documentary 'The Living Dead' about the use of shock treatment in the CIA's involvement with the development of modern-day psychiatry in the late 50's and early 60's.
