Government Gone Wild Podcast show

Summary: Hey peeps! Today’s episode is an exciting debate. This is the first time I’ve had someone on the show who I disagree with on the issues at least 50 percent, if not 80 percent of the time… But before you hit the download button to snag this awesome episode, please take a minute to subscribe on iTunes, Google Play or Soundcloud. Ok, let’s dive into a topic that literally makes me dry heave - feminism. Those of you who have been following me for a while know that I am definitely not a feminist. I detest the label and don’t believe that we need feminism today. There was a time and a place for feminism, and it served a purpose. But now the movement has morphed into this group of whining liberals who are always playing the victim instead of taking personal responsibility. Look - I believe women who work hard can achieve anything that men can in this country. And that can happen without feminism. Blair Imani tends to disagree. A resistance feminist and practicing Muslim, she strongly believes that the laws providing equal rights to men and women aren’t working in practice and that we need to do more to lift up other women. In this debate, I ask her for her thoughts about the current state of feminism, her experience as a Muslim and her relationship with her faith, the utter failure of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, millennial feminist who want more bureaucracy, and so much more.
