Subdrive Podcast - Episode 21 - December 2016 - Krames

Subdrive show

Summary: Subdrive brings you our podcast showcasing mixes from artists we respect and love. Their mixes reflect whatever they’re feeling and are inspired by at the moment. We present them without track listing so you can focus on the mix; not the next song. It’s the middle of December and we’ve now clocked in 16 podcast episodes (including this one) in the past 12 months. To close out 2016, we’ve got a fantastic mix from one of the original Subdrive artists who we’ve known since the blog house/electro days, NYC dance floor veteran Krames. Krames’ eclectic production expertise pulls from a variety of bass heavy genres and a solid decade of experience under his belt. Constantly evolving, he’s established himself as a talented force within the underground of NYC with recent releases on Todd Terry’s Terminator records and his own analog techno focused Afterwave Records, which he founded in 2016. His skillful precision when producing and performing with hardware, drum machines and modular synths heavily influences this month’s mix. You’ll hear warm, chaotic analog techno stitched deeply throughout his podcast for us, a perfect way to end the year. Catch him opening our Subdrive at Soho House event this Friday December 16th → https://www.facebook.com/events/559469994252667/ Follow Krames on Soundcloud → @seankrames Like Krames on Facebook → facebook.com/djkrames Follow Krames on Instagram → instagram.com/seankrames Follow → @subdrive for new podcasts, music, and more Download for free on The Artist Union
