Summary: Springtime is here with longer days and outdoor journeys in the sun. Its been a great 2014 so far and I've started working on a couple new remixes and originals. I've been spending a ton of time working on sound design and am aiming at creating a soundset for a couple soft synths I use frequently in my productions. This mix stars off with an inspirational favorite of mine by Michael Cassette I have listened to hundreds of times. Was having fun with some acapellas and added some various vocal parts to a couple of the records in this mix. The photo was taken on a recent trip to beautiful Lake Arrowhead here in Southern California. Michael Cassette - Shadows Movement - One of my all time favorites and a record that ALWAYS inspires me - simply amazing. Justin Oh & Jonny Rose - City Lights - one of my favorite records in the last year - I love the tempo and and bouncing baseline with the vocals - so nice! Pryda - Lycka - always a huge Prydz fan and this record perfectly exemplifies his melodic style, many awesome melodies! Schodt - You're Brighter Than The Sun - big fan of Schodt and wanted to include a record off his new artist album which is fantastic Fon.Leman - Constant Religion (Aerofeel5 Remix) - great progressive house vibes with some really nice synths and bass Lolo - Why - a classic record I have played many times and always enjoy the progressive flow - I blended in some Nina S vocals on top Matt Crofford - Untitled - a new record I am working on and about 90% done with - very melodic with some unique Jupiter Synth lines in the middle - let me know what you think! BG & Kikis Vs. Schodt - Voices Fly (Matt Crofford Mash) - A mashup of some great tracks from last year, really been enjoying this one lately and wanted to include it in the mix. James Woods - Here Comes The Light - a very nice progressive house record from James Woods - I added some Ellie G vocals on top Eric Prydz - Liberate - wow such a great record, just a great way to end the mix - this record really pumps me up and brings a great feeling!
