Summary: Healing is often not so much an event as it is a process. The woman Jesus heals from her bleeding has gone through doctor after doctor, but none have been able to help her. Jesus Himself then leads her through a process of not only physical healing, but of confession and absolution. When we are sick, we too go through a process of getting help from medical professionals and turning to Christ in faith for help.
