Her biography has been written by three different priests, including Thomas a Kempis, the truth of which has been verified by many sources such as nobleman and doctors of the time. It is an amazing read and not unimportant for our day since she physically embodied the sufferings of the Church in her time. Here is the prayer that she composed for her Guardian Angel: "Angel of God and well-beloved brother, I trust myself to your beneficence and implore you humbly to intercede for me with my Spouse, so that He may forgive me my sins, strengthen me in well-doing, help me by His grace to correct my faults, and lead me to Paradise, there to taste the fruition of His presence and to possess eternal life. Amen."
