Summary: Several weeks ago Marcus had the idea of playing some old stuff again, from the 80s, but focussing on true/epic Metal (Heavy and Power mainly). Then again, so did Jared Parks, who suggested a generation special about the 80s and/or 90s. This request of course can span several genres, thus also Thrash, Progressive, Death, Doom, Black, … So we looked into our collections, going just for the Heavy/Power/Hard Rock approach and found names like Alice Cooper, Guns ‘n’ Rose, David Lee Roth, Vicious Rumors, Twisted Sister and several more.
