Summary: Spring time is here and the musical inspiration has been flowing with some deep progressive sounds. I have been listening to progressive breaks a lot lately and really getting into some nice, euphoric beats such as Schodt's Heatwave on this mix. I have been working on a couple new remixes to share and this mix opens with a classic Sigur Rós song that brings back good memories. My good friend Chris took the photo I used for this Spring Mix, while he was camping in Big Sur, California. Sigur Rós - Saeglópur (Matt Crofford Remix) - I first heard Hoppipolla by Sigur Rós and was blown away. The band has a very unique soundscape and many beautiful songs. I always wanted to remix one of their songs and so a couple weeks ago I felt the inspiration while listening and started working on this remix. It has a downtempo, smooth and organic feel - perfect for an intro, let me know what you think! Aleksey Yakovlev & Kristoffer Ljungberg - Reverie - part one. Really, really enjoy this melody and sound, so much so that I included two mixes of it on this mix! I slightly mixed in the deep mix over the break, as each mixes compliments each other so well Mango, Aeron Aether & Civil Servants - Searching for a Memory (Sundriver Remix) - I have been listening to a lot music from the Silk Royal label and am really impressed with all their high quality releases including this one, very soothing! Really like Sundriver's remixes, always does a great job Schodt - Heatwave - probably my favorite track on this mix, this is such an amazing piece of music by Schodt, wow. Love the melody and the euphoric feelings with this - outstanding! Terry Da Libra - Enchanted Waters - really liking Terry Da Libra's sound and style, this is a great record by him, excellent production Vengaboys - Paradise - this classic brings me back, love it. This beauty was made in 1998!! Aleksey Yakovlev & Kristoffer Ljungberg - Reverie (Hazem Beltagui's Deep Mix) - part two. Amazing synth sounds and melody, awesome! The groove is super nice as well Cressida - 6AM (Kyau & Albert Remix) - bringing me back to 2008. So much great music that year, this is one of my favorites, what a great production and melody Andrew Bayer & Matt Lange (feat Kerry Leva) - In and Out of Phase - these guys really know what they are doing with sound design and this is an outstanding production with an awesome melody and soothing vocal Hope you enjoyed the mix, Thanks for checking it out!
