The Seasons | Trance / Progressive House show

Summary: So far its been a sunny winter here in San Diego with good vibes about 2013. Early in January I felt a lot of inspiration and spent a week mixing three mashups for my dj sets. I've also spent some time finishing up some old remixes and should be posting those soon as well. The photo for this mix was taken in Lake Arrowhead in the Southern California mountains with some snow on the ground. I took the photo through my amber shade sunglasses to give it a unique darker filter and feel. Hope your winter season is going well and I hope this mix adds nicely to your 2013! Thanks for checking it out, comments and reviews are very much appreciated! - Matt Blood Groove & Kikis - Voices Vs. Schodt feat Aida Fenhel - Fly Into The Night - (Matt Crofford Mash) These are some of my favorite current producers and it was really fun mixing these two tracks together to create another new variation. Outstanding vocal and love the complimentary melodies of both records. Schodt - You and Me (Sunn Jellie Remix) - (Cassette Killers Human Memories Matt Crofford Mash) I always wanted to use some Killers Vocals on a mashup and they fit perfectly with the vibe of this mix. Always loved the Michael Cassette Memories record and it again fit nicely right over this melodic Schodt record. Sunn Jellies bass lines are awesome as well. Shingo Nakamura - Whither (Shawn Mitiska Remix) Shingo continues to produce outstanding records and I really like this remix by Mitiska with the clean production and groovy melody. Dan & Sam - Breaking the Illusion These guys are really making some amazing music - really excited for their release of "walls" as well. Really nice, melodic music with a feel good vibe - outstanding record Simon Patterson - Different Feeling Vs. DJ Hooligan - Hear You Now (Grand Chillas Mix) - (Matt Crofford Mash) Different Feeling is such an amazing track and one of my favs that always brings good vibes. The Hear You Now vocal worked really well on top of the mix, as I again always wanted to use it as a mashup as it brings back good old memories Shawn Mitiska feat Hannah Ray - Salt Really nice overall production by Shawn Mitiska and a great vocal by Hannah. Enjoyed the breaks and the melodic synths Shingo Nakamura - Behind the Sunset Another outstanding Shingo record with clean production and silky smooth melodies - very nicely done Mike Hennessy - Alice (Blood Groove & Kikis Remix) Really smooth progressive house record with clean production and smooth melodic vibes Mike Shiver - On the Surface (Alex M.O.R.P.H Remix) A definite classic in my book, I have listened to this record many times and always am amazed by the melodies and euphoric feeling - a great way to end the mix Hope you enjoy the music!
