Summary: Interview with Kim Olver-is a licensed professional counselor, life coach,founder of Coaching for Excellence, LLC and creator of the Inside Out Empowerment process. She spent two years compiling the research and survey data for Secrets of Happy Couples. For more than two decades she has helped clients get along better with the important people in their lives--including themselves--at home and at work, through coaching, counseling, speaking and consulting. She is the author of the new book "Secrets of Happy Couples"-Loving Yourself, Your Partner and Your Life. Kim's passion is relationships. She has done a research with 100 happy couples to find out what made their relationships work and what they all had in common-get the results of her findings by listening to the show. Kim's motto: “You can’t change the direction of the wind, but you CAN adjust your sails”. She answered some very important relationship questions as well: What is the relationship cycle and how we move through the stages?, What are the destructive and the healthy relationship habits and why are they so important? What are the five basic needs? We both gave examples of incompatibility with needs. What do you mean when you say one person in the couple can make the relationship better?
