Are you feeling a little unbalanced? All yoga
postures have a balance point where the body is perfectly aligned. When you
achieve that point, the posture feels effortless. Practicing standing balance

allow the body to drop away and enter a deep state of relaxation—both
physically and mentally—is very challenging. In this podcast, we will
practice the corpse pose, and while in the pose we’ll do a guided
meditation called the 31-point relaxation.

unique insights and benefits. Today we will do one asana, the head to knee pose,
and we will do it in a meditative way. I’ll also share some techniques to
make the head to knee pose more comfortable.

When it is time for yoga, are you instantly in
the zone…or is your mind overflowing with thoughts. Does it take you a
while to settle down and clear your mind before you feel that you are fully
present for your yoga practice? Well—you can speed up the process by
establishing your own yoga rituals. Today we will do a relaxation routine that
I do at the beginning of my classes…followed by a short
meditation.
